Nós, do Grupo Ruas e Praças, somos uma organização não governamental sem fins lucrativos, e nosso foco esta em desenvolver atividades e ações sociais com crianças e adolescentes em situação de rua e em vulnerabilidade de direitos, realizando um trabalho político-pedagógico e cultural.
Surgimos no ano de 1987, e desde então buscamos realizar trabalhos e ações sociais com o propósito de reduzir o número de crianças e adolescentes nas ruas e praças da cidade do Recife e Região Metropolitana, criando caminhos de inclusão social. Além disso, buscamos também reduzir a violência no espaço escolar, através do protagonismo infanto-juvenil, de forma a envolver alunos, professores e gestores, e o reflexo dos nossos esforços nos motiva e nos impulsiona a avançar mais e mais em nossas ações.
Ao longo desses anos, realizando ações nas ruas das comunidades mais carentes da cidade do Recife e Região Metropolitana, nos tornamos uma das principais referências no atendimento a crianças e adolescentes em situação de Rua do Recife/PE.

We, Grupo Ruas e Praças, are a non-profit non-governmental organization, and our objective is to develop social activities and actions with children and adolescents on the streets and in vulnerability of rights, carrying out political-pedagogical and cultural work.
The organization was founded in 1987, and since then we have aimed to implement social actions with the purpose of reducing the number of children and adolescents in the streets and squares of the city of Recife and the Metropolitan Region, creating paths of social inclusion. In addition, we also seek to reduce violence in local schools, through the role of children and adolescents, in order to involve students, teachers and managers, and the reflection of our efforts motivates us and drives us to move more and more forward in our actions.
